Organs and bells are musical instruments that together, for centuries, have shared different liturgical and civil functions, enriching the sound universe of celebrations and festivities in various towns and cities. The festive peals, played manually from the Monastery's bell tower, will be a symbolic way of marking the opening of the FIO and drawing everyone's attention to the material and immaterial importance of this heritage.

JMS Organaria
JMS Organaria is part of the mini-cluster of industries specialising in the construction of organ components in Vila Nova de Famalicão, the only one of its kind in the world, collaborating closely with the renowned companies Bom Organum and JF Organpipes. JMS Organaria is a highly specialised company in the construction of reed pipes, with extensive experience and professional recognition in the sector. In addition, JMS Organaria has dedicated itself to organ restorations, as well as the technical assessment, maintenance and periodic tuning of both modern and historic organs.
